To all active rockets
[All Rockets will find the following voice memo on their accounts. The voice, a clear speaking, almost pleasant female one is not one that can be recognised as any of the admins they ordinarily interact with. It seems this particular memo is coming from higher up the chain, much much higher.]
Attention all Rockets. This year we are stealing Christmas.
Our corporate takeover of the United Kanto/Johto Santa's Guild is now complete. This year, all major department store and shopping district Santa and elves in the Kanto and Johto regions will be Team Rocket.
All Rockets, either in the field or on base, are required to check in with their designated admins with in the next 48hrs to receive their elf or Santa assignments and equipment.
Although tentative roles have been assigned to all Grunts and Privates, final determination of role will be made at the check-in.
We expect all Santas to either like children, have experience with children, or at least fake it. Elves are expected to make sure all cash secured from Santa visits is delivered into Rocket hands.
We know some of you have cover jobs. We have secured copies of your work schedules and have assigned your Santa or elf shifts around them, at the nearest Santa location to where you work.
If you have been scheduled in a city that you do not have the warp for, flying transportation will be arranged.
Shifts as Santa or an elf are mandatory for all Grunts. Privates may opt out of their shifts as Santa or elves strictly at their admins' discretion; they are still required to be involved with the mission. Betas may opt in to taking shifts as Santa or elves; otherwise, they and the Alphas will be handling logistics and preparation for The Big Night.
The initial phase of this mission is infiltration and reconnaissance only, in preparation for The Big Night. You are under strict orders not to steal anything obvious or unsubtle for the next two weeks, so as not to compromise our position. You are also required to regularly report on all your assigned department store or shopping district, especially concerning security.
This mission is mandatory for all Rockets.
