A minute later, he's switched to video himself. Unsurprisingly, he's at Jack's house, also in a bedroom, a very fancy one, in which the bed has been hastily made and all sexy things put away. He's wearing a nerdy-ass tee shirt and what look like pajama pants.

He holds up a hand-lettered sign which reads:]

His eyes visibly flick down, first to the t-shirt (that gets a long stare) and then the sign. And he types something up quickly, before he starts signing - slowly, so Steven can try and match the movements to the words. The grammar doesn't quite line up, but it's the best he can do.]

[He pauses, then adds a new caption and signs again.]

Maybe you should invest in a whiteboard if we're gonna do it like this.
