I got one of those shiny Pokemon I see you guys talking about! And all I had to do was steal it from a dog show - with help from Steven, of course! Did you know humans have contests where they try and decide which dog they have is the best based on their haircuts and stuff? Ha, what a riot! 

Anyway... this has been a blast! I kind of want to find more of these "shinies".

To be honest, if I had a lil guy with a dignified nickname like that, I'd be calling him sir all the time. It's only proper.

I know its name, but I'm going to let Spinel tell you. That said, while I didn't get a shiny of my own out of our little dog show heist, I did get a promotion out of it. It turns out that the admins really like it when we mentor the new recruits. Who'd have thought?

Oh yes. I'd thought I wasn't being paid very much considering how thin the envelope was, but when I opened it there was an official notice of my promotion to Beta--complete with a very sweet post-script where they praised me for my consistent hard work, specifically with the offworld recruits. Evidently, we offworlders have a reputation for being hard to wrangle.

I'm looking forward to it too! I'm still planning on leading us on that mine job I was talking about before, to take place after we're back from Sinnoh. I might not need it to make Beta anymore, but it'll still be a fun way for us all to work together and get some useful items.

Three more weeks. Two weeks in Sinnoh and then one more week until the mine heist.

It would definitely be nice, though, if we had our own warps and didn't need to use the pokecenter.
