[Being here for a few days now really settles his usual amount of interest in something new to an absolute zero, even if it's been... interesting getting used to a number of new things. Sleeping is certainly one he's tried practicing and has zero luck in, which probably explains why he's up so early in the morning, admittedly enjoying his returned tastebuds and motioning with his fork.]
A little lower, Charming, or you'll catch nothing and no one at all~.
[The Spinarak shoots another string across the hallway, lower this time, but not enough to completely impede the usual traffic. Just enough to get stares from anyone making use of it. She circles around until she has a wide web, looking at Ferid with her beady eyes.
... It's kind of cute.]
There we go~. Good girl~. Now, let's practice your letters.
[So they're going to be doing this all day, with breaks for food, and Ferid's Mawile joining later in the evening to snap at the webs that need to come down for more practice. It's the most pointless thing, teaching this little thing to write words, but you know what? He's never really felt at a loss for time before.]

...Her Woobat, though, always eager to show off? He definitely flies high enough, and he's self-centered enough to take the Mawile snapping at webs as a challenge to his destructiveness!!!!
So naturally, he goes barreling into one of the webs before it has the chance to get destroyed by anyone else. And naturally, he gets stuck in it, squirming with distressed-angry bat noises. Aligula's not far behind—because he wouldn't be doing this Impressive Stunt if she weren't around—but she's just kind of... staring instead of helping her damn pokémon. Her Phantump's absent, largely because he's staying in his pokéball like an actually well-behaved thing. ]
You're like, a real dumb-dumb bat, aren't you. [ That's not to Ferid nor any of his partners, though she'll turn to him after a moment and tilt her head. Hmmm. ] Is this what you do when we're not stuck in the world's most boring training montage?

[Poor thing, though. Charming's not shy in clambering over to the Woobat, though she's not really doing anything to help. Mostly to watch. His Mawile's laughing her butt off.]
