Rocket Prom announcement (backdated to Thursday evening!)
[This announcement hits the private Rocket network Thursday evening. It's a voice-only memo, and doesn't seem to be coming from the regular admins you interact with for day-to-day things. Instead, this is coming from far higher up in the chain.]
Attention all Rockets.
As you all know, tomorrow Lance of the Elite Four is hosting another one of his 'Prom' celebrations. This time, however, there is more at stake than just a silly dance and the opportunity to steal some baubles.
For several months now, we've known that one of the Elite Four members will be abdicating their position. We've been hard at work to take advantage of this opportunity in order to plant on our own within their number. And we have nearly succeeded in our goal. One of our loyal members has made it to the final selection.
Tomorrow, Lance, the sentimental fool that he is, will be leaving the decision of who will join their ranks up to your Otherworlders. Victory is almost within our grasp, bretheren, and all we need is a final push from you to obtain it. We needn't tell you how much we will benefit from having an insider within the Elite Four, capable of steering their decisions to ones that will be beneficial to our goal. Serve us well and experience our generosity.
This prom, we care not for expensive items or well-bred pokemon. Set your sights elsewhere, Rockets. Do whatever is in your power to influence the outcome of this vote. We know there are talents within you yet. Use them and we will richly reward you for any vote you can turn to our side.
