[Action]

[For those lucky enough to be wandering the hallways, Vanitas won't be hard to miss. Rather than change into his Team Rocket issued uniform like he'd been told, the young man is still wearing his outfit from home--helmet and all. He's got two tag-alongs in his exploration, one being his Phantump and the other his Woobat.

The first is drifting along quietly and obediently, pausing whenever Vanitas does to avoid running into it's master. The Woobat, however, is darting all over the place having the time of it's life now that he's out of his Pokeball!

Which of course just makes Vanitas hate it even more.]

You're pathetic. [The Woobat just squeaked in delight and Vanitas rolled his eyes behind his mask before veering down another hallway to see who or what he could find.]

Walter didn't even need to move.

Robbie swung his arm and smacked Vanitas. In human terms, even putting force behind such a motion, wouldn't be so impressive. But Robbie was a very strong, highly trained Bewear who didn't hold back when ordered to attack. So when he swung, it was with enough power to snap a telephone pole - aimed right at Vanitas' face.

Whent he attack connected, Joseph screeched in laughter.

The blow knocked Vanitas into the wall, the sound of broken glass hitting the floor as his helmet shattered. (What is it with people and shattering his helmet.) He definitely wasn't expecting the pain that came with the blow, a few of the glass pieces having cut into his face and god was his head throbbing--

But oh. Oh that was what he was looking for.

Muffled laughter escaped Vanitas as he slumped against the wall, reaching up to pull the remains of his helmet off, licking at the blood on his lip from the split there.

His Phantump had let go of his Woobat, enraged by her trainer getting hurt as it's eyes started to glow softly and it swiftly used Confused Ray on the Bewear.

Get away from her trainer!

"Night Slash." Walter said calmly. But he wasn't speaking to Robbie now - Joseph gave another manic, gleeful cry and launched off him, claws glistening with darkness and slashing through the ghost. It was overkill, it was a strong attack, it was super effective, Joseph was many, many levels above the Phantump.

Looking over at Vanitas calmly, Walter gently touched Robbie's back.

A shrill squeak escaped the Woobat now as the Phantump was knocked out, the little ghost unresponsive as it's partner tried to get it to say something. When no response came, the Woobat turned it's attention to Joseph, looking distraught as it squeaked out Sorry Sorry Sorry over and over again.

Vanitas had sunk to the ground now, clearly not planning to get up again at the moment before there was definitely a rather manic sort of glee on his face as he watched Walter and Robbie.

"I can't wait to take them," he mumbled out through his bubbling bouts of laughter, licking his lips again.

Now he had a goal.

Walter calmly walked up to Vanitas, followed by Robbie. "They would kill you." He explained, very calmly and very slowly. "And I would kill you." Robbie growled and nodded.

Joseph gave the Woobat a look. "He's right you know. If your trainer tried to take me, I'd take his throat out! So if you like him alive, keep him back....or if you want him dead, just say so. These humans come back, so we cna kill him again and again and again!"

Vanitas snickered, tilting his head as he looked up at Walter.

"Now I know what to expect. We're going to have a lot of fun, the two of us," the young man practically purred.

His Woobat fluttered about nervously, looking from Joseph to Vanitas and back again before shaking itself about.

"I can't stop him. He'll do it again and again. He won't be scared of you either." Even if the Woobat is clearly terrified.

"Then he will die! Again and again and again." Joseph shrugged, with a big toothy grin. "Our Trainer has endured suffering. But we won't let him suffer."

Walter simply straightened and motioned for Robbie to come with him. Joseph paused however, quickly looking over the Woobat. "Hey...if he turns out too bad to ya...the stealing thing isn't just a one way street." He winked, before jumping up to Walter's shoulder again as they left towards the labs. Restricted access meant it was safe from people like Vanitas.

"He'll probably enjoy it," the Woobat squeaked softly, slowly lowering to the ground to settle near the fainted Phantump--since Vanitas had left their Pokeballs back in the room he'd woken up in. And while Joseph's parting words gave him some hope...he wouldn't leave his trainer even if he was stolen.

Vanitas just watched the group go, far more amused than someone that had just been assaulted by a Pokemon like Bewear should be.

Maybe this wouldn't be all that bad after all.
