Oh, I was thinking the train station itself actually! It's not exactly the smartest plan, having someone wander around a city they've never been to otherwise, you know..?

Since you're training across Goldenrod, you should at least know where that station is... ...and I'll bet that even with whatever you get from rocket funds, you won't have too much luggage. So it's easy to pick you up that way!
