The holidays are just around the corner, but before we get excited about that, I wanted to get excited about something even better! Something even more lasting..! Though we should definitely get pretty excited about the holidays if you know what I'm saying hehehe...

I should introduce you to all the people that Jack and I were talking with about wedding things with, now that they won't be getting our custom. I've got a whole list of reputable wedding people.

Ooooh...that might actually help! He had some weird tastes at times, but I can't say he didn't have decent ones and I imagine you had some influence...

We could use all the kickoff possible, we just started honestly.

Oh definitely. I wasn't going to let Jack take complete control over what I thought would be my only shot at being married.

Just give me a moment and I'll send you the list--and hell, for the ones we've already put in orders with, why don't I contact them and see if I can turn those orders over to you. That way you'll save money, since Jack's already paid them, and it'll function as his wedding present in absentia.

He's much more positive about the possibility of being married now back home, even if he doubts it'll happen to him personally.]

I think with most of the ones we've paid already, ten weeks out is still enough time to make some last minute changes. And you'll be giving them extra time to work now, given that I doubt you're going to keep our date, which would have been February 15th. Or the venue, which I think we'd finally settled on as the garden of Jack's house--in winter, ugh, the things I did for love--anyway, it's in my notes, you can check it to be sure.

No one is going to try and bash or murder you for it, yes. I'm dating a woman here but I used to have a long-term boyfriend, so I understand how great it feels to not need to worry about that. Steven's openly gay and has never faced any discomfort over it.

The fact is, the bunch of us who come here from different worlds are really transient- sure some of us stick around for years but...there's plenty who disappear within months too.

It feels important to share things like this with the people who got pulled in here. Especially with the ones who woke up in Team Rocket- there's...not really a lot of us compared to everyone else, and on top of that, it's a bit of a dicey situation, y'know? [she adjusts her glasses.] I mean...they kinda have you by the throat right out of the gates...

[... That's right. It's easy to forget, but... there's a good chance a lot of the people who end up in Team Rocket were never criminals to begin with. Being forced to join an organization like this, even if it seems like a horribly inefficient one by the standards you're used to... It can't be pleasant.

I just work off base these days. Mapping can be a pretty cushy job once you know how to work with it, and since it's only one spot, that means I can work on other things too~ ...Like wedding plans!

I am ever so grateful for the invitation, too. I do so love weddings. Have you a date already? Plans ironed out? Or is this still rather fresh, and such vibrant excitement has yet allowed for such preparations?

We haven't even really started making all the calls yet, we just know we're inviting more than just 'close family' here. I mean to be fair some of them could probably vanish before the day even happens...

Ooof though! Oof! There's so much to do even without thinking about it..! We need to look at some good venues here...

Indeed, weddings can be quite the ordeal if one does not prepare properly. But from what it sounds like, yours is going to be quite a large event, hm? Certainly something to consider when scoping out venues.

All the same, pray do not hesitate to ask said friends and family for assistance with the organizing, even small scale events can be quite the burden on individuals attempting to carry it all upon their shoulders in their lonesome endeavor. More hands make less work, as they say, and you should enjoy this occasion--not grow loathsome of it.

I'll keep that in mind for sure though! It's still sort of early to start calling numbers, but I'll probably take some of you up on those offers once we really get going...like you said, overworking for something like this is just backwards.
