Well, it seems the lot of you got up to quite the party just before my arriVal.
Terrible timing, but I can't complain if this is hoW you conduct yourselVes on the regular.
As is obVious, I'm neW here. The name's Lanque Bombyx.
For those more experienced With this World and this organization, I'd appreciate WhateVer adVice you might haVe for someone in my position.
It isn't one I'm particularly used to, after all, but I'm adaptable and knoWn for being flexible—in many Ways.
Who knoWs, We might enjoy getting to knoW one another While We're at it.

And those are Bewear, the Hugging Pokemon! They give the best hugs! Right, guys?
[At that one of the Bewears comes over and gives Scorpia one hell of a bear hug which she returns with a will. Was that crack from Scorpia's back, or the Bewear's? Hard to say, because neither seems bothered.]
They're both super cute! With cute names to match.
[She pauses to think.] And I've been here almost two months. Little Perfuma and Emily are both napping now, and little Perfuma can get grumpy when she wakes up or I'd introduce them too! They were my first two Pokemon friends here. I've made a lot more though!

[Is his quick reply, but then she's...hugging that giant thing, and all he can think of is two musclebeasts fighting for dominance over one another, but somehow way less violent. As she returns, Lanque's merely looking on with budding amusement.]
They certainly have some charm to them, I'll admit, but there's no reason to disturb yours. I'm not entirely unfamiliar with wrangling monsters, though these are way less bitchy than the fauna of my planet.
Anyway, I'm sorry, but months?
[His brow furrows for a moment.]

Oh yeah! They're all really friendly here. Well, a lot of them want you to prove the strength of you and your friends first, but after that they're great friends too.
I know what you mean though; I've met some creatures pretty determined to eat me! Although that may have been the weird infection from the First One's tech that Entrapta had...
Anyway! I'm not sure what a perigee is. But! A month is how they break up the year. Um, I think they base it on the cycle of the one moon? It's so weird to have just one moon. I mean, the sun and stars are weird too, but that was something we just didn't know we had at home until recently because of portal magic.
[Then Scorpia stops, blinks and makes a noise of realization.]
Caste? And a color... I met someone who talked like that here! She said she was a troll!

Yeah, I mean, Alternia has two moons, so with there only being one here, it's pretty damn weird. Perigees are also based on the moon, it's the point when the moon's orbit is the closest to the planet—but wait, you didn't have a sun or stars? Portal magic?
[He's not even sure how the hell that happens, unless someone is kept completely underground. And having been someone who, for the better part of his life, was indeed made to be subterranean, he can uniquely say that even he knows of their existence.]
You're the second person to allude to another troll being here, but apparently she isn't anymore. But yes, I am a troll—a Jade blood.

Anyway, Glimmer--one of the Princesses--talked me into trying to connect with the Black Garnet in order to fight against Hordak together which almost activated the weapon and somehow in the process Etheria ended up back out into normal space! But we stopped the weapon from activating, so it ended up mostly okay. Of course, then we got invaded right away from space.
[Scorpia shrugs in a 'what can you do?' way.] The stars are really, really pretty though! And sunlight feels so nice, much warmer than day-moonlight.
[She brightens.] Oh yeah, her name was Terezi! She was really pretty with cute pointy horns and said her blood was Teal. I'm kind of sad she went back home; she was a really fun person. I'm really glad to meet another troll though!

[He could sound and look way more interested as she explained, but he doesn't even try. It all sounds like some plot of a show that Wanshi might have liked and he'd inevitably get pulled into watching. Maybe he'd find a character he related to and liked, but he'd ultimately act dismissive about them because he's above such fandom nonsense.
So, instead of really paying too close attention to all that, he's left thinking idly about Wanshi. That is, until Scorpia shrugs and that visual pulls him out of his thoughts. Just in time to hear the bit about the other troll.
Terezi the Teal, huh?]
A Teal named Terezi? Can't say I've heard of her, but that's not surprising. Guess I'm the only troll here now, though. Not that I mind, really. As for the sun and all that, it's definitely something I have to get used to. The Alternian sun wasn't anything to take lightly, and you certainly couldn't stand out in it for very long unless your goal was to die.

[Scorpia thinks about the other part for a minute.]
I think people come back sometimes? And anyway, it's weird, but once somebody's here, more people come. From my world there was Entrapta first, and then Catra, and then me!

[Maybe it's weird that he doesn't look too pleased by that, but he certainly doesn't.]
...In any case, whether that happens or not is moot at the moment.

[Scorpia notices but other than a tiny frown for a half second, she doesn't bring it up.]
Yeah, if someone else had gotten here at the same time, you'd know already! And there's no sense in worrying about home, because time doesn't pass at there really! Me and Catra compared things, and it was maybe an hour? If any time at all, and she was here for a couple months before I got here!
